I'm too busy to plan healthy meals!

As a Mum, one of the most daunting tasks I used to experience was getting dinner done. Packing up the kids and navigating the grocery store, often without a list (since I left it at home, or just completely spaced out on making one) and finding ways to keep them calm so we can get through the shops in one piece.  Sometimes, without a clear plan, I’d buy way too much of the things I didn’t really need, or forget the items that I did.

 

Usually, my good intention was to plan my meals out in advance, but I never found the time. I’d read books, articles and blog posts about being a busy Mum and executing great meals for my family. Most of the articles said the same thing: plan in advance, cook in batches, and pre-prepare. Only problem is, I could never get organised enough to do any of those things. 

 

Life is really about priorities, and becoming a nutritionist put food at the forefront for me. Now it’s become a passion, so creatively planning and executing meals has become something that I love. 

 

That’s why I put together my incredible Mum’s on the Run online meal planning service. It’s designed for busy Mum’s, just like you, and it has everything I wished I could have had back then.

Comprehensive evaluation

 

The Mum’s on the Run online service starts with an assessment of your complete health: from the state of your skin, your mindset and your energy levels. To begin, I send you a client registration form and a thorough questionnairethat you can fill out in your own time (I know you’re busy)! 

 

Often, but not always, I’ll ask that you complete a 7 day diet diary too.

 

Treatment Outline

 

With these results, I put together a detailed treatment outline with recommendations about diet, supplementation, lifestyle and essential oils and is tailored specifically for you.  (You can read a sample recommendation for a woman with an underactive thyroid, PMS and mild adrenal fatigue here)

 

All supplements recommended are available through a patient ordering system: you receive log-in details, decide what you want to purchase, and these supplements are delivered direct to your door.  If you want to purchase any of the recommended essential oils, that can be arranged too.

 

One-on-one Phone Call

 

The package includes a 15 minute phone call to discuss the recommendations set out, providing an opportunity for you to ask questions and get clarity on recommendations. This call is your time to discuss planning and techniques that can set you up for success, whatever your goals. The treatment outline includes dietary, lifestyle, supplementation and essential oil recommendations. 

 

Every now and then I might request that you get further testing done, which I can organise for you. Once we know what’s happening with you, and what you’re deficient in, I’ll craft a meal plan to address and fix these issues. 

 

Personalised meal plan 

 

Your personalised seven day meal plan includes breakfast, lunch dinner and two snacks, every day for seven days. Each meal is designed based on your treatment outline and also to be delicious, family friendly and easy to make. You can see a sample meal plan here

Easy to follow recipes

 

Each recipe is simple, easy to follow, and most of them can be executed in under 30 minutes. The recipes are based around the nutrients that we’ve discovered your body needs. For example, if we found you to be deficient in magnesium,  you might have some dark chocolate in one of your snacks – how good is that?!

 

And here’s the best part, you don’t have to look through the recipes to find out what you need to buy, because your package comes complete with your very own…

 

Shopping list

 

This list has everything you need on it to make each of your meals, snacks and drinks for the entire seven days.  So you don’t have to waste your time or freak out in the middle of the grocers.
