With recent advances in our understanding of nutritional science, we now know that weight loss and weight management isn't as simple as the old adage 'calories in vs calories out'.

I feel that too often weight loss is approached from a standpoint of 'restriction', when I like to flip that viewpoint to one of 'nourishment'. We can change our body composition and return to a healthy weight when we learn how to fuel and nourish our bodies, as individuals.

  • Calories are not created equal.

  • No two people have the same hormonal profile. 

​

  • Fad diets may work in the short term, but rarely stay the distance.
